IB Diploma Programme Psychology (FE2027)

Matt Kuykendall is an IB workshop leader and examiner with extensive experience teaching Psychology and Theory of Knowledge at three of the world’s leading international schools. He has built new programmes, courses, and experiences for students and staff alike, with a focus on project-based curriculum, standards-based assessment, and student-centred learning geared toward skill mastery. His approach is grounded in data-driven needs analysis and clear, measurable learning goals. Matt is an author of Kognity’s IB DP Psychology and Theory of Knowledge books.

Rachael Thornton is an experienced Psychology teacher with a background spanning international schools and the UK, focused on developing students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of the world. She has worked as an IB Psychology workshop leader since 2024 and an IB Psychology examiner since 2022. Rachael is currently Head of Psychology at Harrow International School Bangkok, having previously spent six years at Dulwich College Shanghai as Extended Essay Coordinator, Head of Year 13, Head of Psychology, and IB Coordinator. Rachael is an Expert Reviewer for Kognity’s IB DP Psychology book.

Sonia Henderson is an experienced IB DP educator, examiner, and workshop leader specialising in Psychology and Theory of Knowledge. After many years teaching internationally, she relocated to Australia and founded Diploma Insights, offering specialist support for IB DP schools, teachers, students, and parents across Australia and the wider ANZ region. She has run IB DP revision courses since 2020 and launched Diploma Insights’ online tutoring service in 2024. Sonia contributed as a book author to Kognity’s IB DP Psychology book.
