Webinar: Modeling as an SEP. How to Make Thinking Visible in the Science Classroom

She also discusses how to assess student understanding and identify misconceptions that aid in revealing learning gaps of students through modeling.

Mrs. Forbes is a highly motivated Science Chairperson with nearly two decades of experience leading science curriculum development and promoting scientific literacy. In her current role at East Rockaway UFSD, she implements innovative teaching strategies and NYSSLS 3D instructional practices, fostering a positive learning environment for grades 7-12. She is a current NYS Master Teacher and holds a BS in Chemistry and an MAT in Secondary Science Education.
