Webinar: Teaching with the brain in mind
How can we use our knowledge of how the brain works to make lessons more inspiring, interesting and ultimately effective for our students?
John Patton is a pedagogical leader, Biology teacher and an expert in evidence-based teaching and learning. Through his research and practice, combined with his knowledge of brain physiology, he has discovered a number of simple but highly effective strategies that can improve any educator’s ability to deliver more impactful lessons.
This includes being aware of the impact that emotions can have on a student’s ability to digest information, as well as how timing and repetition play a role in what they take away at the end of the day.
