What we’ve updated for back to school
Earth and Space Science Course
For those of you who teach Earth and Space Science as a standalone course, we heard you – here it is! Kognity’s new Earth and Space Science course aligns with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and delivers the latest research and data. Educators of all backgrounds can benefit from expert guidance, reducing prep time and allowing them to focus on what matters most — impactful lessons.
Why the new course?
The standalone Earth and Space Science course was designed to address a critical gap in available content for teachers and to support struggling science students. By providing an engaging and focused science experience, the course equips students with the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to become informed citizens and environmental stewards.

Why the update?
After conversations between teachers and the Kognity product team, we found that they often skip, choose, or rearrange lessons and activities to fit their teaching style. To make things easier for them, we’ve updated Kognity to give teachers more flexibility in how they use and find the content.
Please note content filtering will be available for Physics in the fall.

Instant Feedback for Question Assignments
We know students learn best by doing. That’s why we’ve given teachers the option to reveal solutions after each question in assignments. This allows students to correct mistakes and grasp concepts before moving on, boosting understanding and motivation.
Why the update?
Previously, delayed feedback hindered student progress and frustrated teachers. By providing immediate access to solutions after each question, students can now correct mistakes and deepen understanding, leading to improved learning outcomes and increased motivation.

Send Assignments to Multiple Classes
Creating assignments for multiple classes used to be a time-consuming task. Now, our upcoming assignments feature will let you send assignments to all your classes at once, eliminating repetitive tasks, reducing busywork, and maximizing learning with a single click!
Why the update?
Teachers who teach the same course to multiple classes were struggling with the amount of time it took to send assignments, so our goal is to save them time with a more functional user experience by removing tedious tasks.
Kognity is bridging the gap between expert NGSS curriculum and classroom implementation, making science engagement possible for every student.
