Saving time and improving teacher well-being
Philippa Dell is the Science Faculty Head and Biology teacher at Southbank International School – an IB World School located in central London, with 70 nationalities represented in the student body.
If I were to come up with my own scale from 1-10 in terms of how much time Kognity has saved me and how much that’s improved my well-being, I would say it’s an 11.
Philippa says that Kognity has helped her to reduce lesson and assessment planning time from several hours down to a few minutes. Given the highly international environment at Southbank International, Kognity’s integrated reading assistance, visual aids and interactive diagrams have also been particularly useful in helping multilingual learners get to grips with complex scientific concepts.
She also found Kognity to be a valuable resource for supporting the transition to the new IB DP Biology syllabus.
