About the speaker
Dr. Carol Baker was one of forty-one individuals chosen nationwide to be a member of the writing team for the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). She has conducted several large-scale workshops to educate K-12 teachers and administrators about NGSS both locally and nationally, and has presented at many conferences around the country. Dr. Baker also works with schools and districts on curriculum, lessons, and assessments aligned to NGSS.
