Webinar: The TOK Presentation & Candidate PPD: How to support candidates for IB Moderation
This webinar helps you support students by clarifying the manner in which IB Moderators use thresholds to determine achievement levels. The presentation Global Assessment Instrument is ‘unpacked’ relative to thresholds that moderators apply during IB moderation. This webinar provides some advice, some do’s & don’ts and some recommendations for TOK teachers and teaching teams with a focus on supporting candidates. This is a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15 minute Q&A.
About the host: Daniel Fosbenner
Daniel has been teaching IB DP mathematics since 1994 and Theory of Knowledge since 2012. He regularly attends IB Category 3 workshops and he headed the Mathematics Department at his current school for 20+ years. He currently helps support a TOK Teaching Team of six members from various departments.
